A lendária banda de Rockabilly da 4ª geração “Stray Cats” lançou esta semana (24 de maio) seu novo e mais recente álbum para celebrar os 40 anos de carreira da banda.
São 12 faixas que compõem o arquivo mp3 / vinil e é claro que já tenho o meu exemplar que já conferi faixa a faixa, no qual vou opinar dizendo que a faixa 5 “I Attract Trouble” com duração de (3:42) min. nos da a sensação de que estamos diante e escutando o também lendário e icônico “The Cramps”…..Posso dizer também que a faixa 9 “Desperado” com duração de (2:56) min. nos dá a sensação de que estamos diante e escutando o lendário e também icônico que faleceu recentemente (16/3/19) “Dick Dale” com seu Surf Guitar Music.
Brian Setzer (guitarra e vocal), Lee Rocker (baixo) e Slim Jim Phantom (bateria e percussão) gravaram o disco “40” num estúdio de Nashville. Com lançamento pela Surfdog Records e distribuição pela BMG, o álbum tem produção de Peter Collins, que já trabalhou com Rush, Bon Jovi e o próprio Brian Setzer. Em 2018 a banda se apresentou no festival Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend, no qual fez muito sucesso entre os rockers, pinups simpatizantes e publico normal presentes no evento!
